With Intensa Crema D'Oro, Dallmayr has, by virtue of a darker roasting, created a slightly more intense version of the popular Crema D'Oro variant.
A crema coffee like the one you get here is a type of coffee that is especially popular in the Germanic countries. This type of coffee is brewed in the manner of an espresso, but is ground coarsely like for a filter coffee. With a crema coffee, you therefore get the best properties from both Espresso and filter coffee at the same time; the intensity of the espresso, combined with the soft body of the filter coffee.
In this variant, one recognizes the taste of the classic Dallmayr Crema D'Oro, but here in a slightly more fiery and spiced version. The beans are roasted according to the special Dallmayr roasting method, where the fine spicy and fruity tones of the coffee beans have been highlighted, to create the characteristic taste of Dallmayr coffee.
