Bold Brews Ethiopia Guji, whole bean specialty coffee, 250g. Floral, fruity Ethiopian arabica from the country that started it all. The cup tastes like jasmine and stone fruit, light and aromatic.
Guji is in southern Ethiopia, an area producing some of the most aromatic coffee in the world. Bold Brews roasts these beans light to keep the floral character intact. If your usual coffee is dark and chocolatey, this is the opposite end of the spectrum.
This bean wants filter brewing. V60, Kalita, or Chemex with a 1:16 ratio. Grinding fine for espresso works but loses some of the aromatics.
Ethiopian Guji at light roast is what convinced a lot of people that coffee can taste like fruit. Worth trying once.
