Overview

The CGE01 packs a hardened 420 stainless steel conical burr into an aluminum alloy body about the size of a tall soda can: 58mm across, 183mm high. The external adjustment dial moves in 90 steps of 0.02mm per click, the kind of resolution you normally only get from a bench grinder. It charges over USB-C and carries an IPX5 splash rating.

How to use

Load up to 20g of beans, set the dial to your brew method and press the button. An espresso dose takes about 90 seconds. Step the dial a click or two finer or coarser to dial in; each click is a 20 micron move, so adjustments are surgical rather than dramatic.
