This is the traditional moka method: hot water rises through the grounds under steam pressure and lands as a strong, concentrated brew close to espresso. The iKape version is cast aluminum, works on gas and electric stoves, and brews four shots per run.
Fill the base with water up to the valve, spoon medium-fine grounds into the basket without tamping, screw the top on, and set it over medium heat. When it starts to gurgle, it's done.
There's no rushing a moka pot. The gurgle tells you when it's done and not a second before, which is honestly a decent way to start a morning.
