Ethiopian Arabica is the granddad of specialty coffee, and Roast Maestro built this capsule to play to the bold side of that origin. Intensity 12 out of 13 means a punchy, full-bodied shot, with a chocolate-led aroma and caramel sweetness on the back. Works in Nespresso Original-line machines and Roast Maestro's own machines.
Best as a 25 to 30 ml espresso to keep the intensity tight. It bullies its way through milk, so flat white and cappuccino come out properly coffee-forward. If you want it a little softer, pull it longer or top up with hot water for an Americano.
If your morning needs a shove rather than a tap on the shoulder, this is the capsule. The chocolate-caramel finish is what stops it from being just dark for the sake of it.
